Hello! My name is Monica. In 2018, I completed my yoga teacher training in Toronto. My training is rooted in the principles of vinyasa flow yoga, influenced by the Prana Flow teachings of Shiva Rea and balanced with strong components of yoga anatomy, yoga philosophy, restorative yoga, Sanskrit, chanting, meditation and trauma-informed yoga.  

My affinity towards a strength-based practice led me to specialize in Yoga for Athletes training. This model of yoga is currently used to train athletes in the NHL and NBA. Continuing my education this time with a focus on women, I completed a 50-hour Pre and Post Natal Training.  

In addition to the physical training, I have also completed my Reiki Level 1, 2, and Master Level.  

I strongly believe that the strength we cultivate on the mat leads to harmony in the body, the mind, and all other areas of life.
